Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of myLine, including the website at mylinecompany.com and the myLine iOS app.
1. Using myLine
myLine is an iOS app and website that helps people see selected updates from people and creators they care about before continuing into supported social apps. The app can use Apple Shortcuts, App Intents, notifications, and on-device state to create that pause.
You may use myLine only if you can form a binding agreement with us and comply with these Terms and applicable laws.
2. Supported Apps and Third Parties
myLine may open or interact with supported third-party apps or websites, such as TikTok or Instagram, only through user-directed links, URL schemes, Shortcuts automation, or similar platform features. myLine is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those third-party services.
You are responsible for your use of supported social apps and for complying with any third-party terms that apply to them.
3. Automation, Notifications, and Device Settings
You are responsible for how you configure Shortcuts automation, notifications, target apps, and related device settings. Apple controls many iOS behaviors, including App Intents, Shortcuts, notifications, URL schemes, and app distribution.
We try to keep myLine useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that every automation or notification behavior will work the same across devices, iOS versions, app versions, or Apple policy changes.
4. App Store, Fees, and Availability
myLine is currently intended to be free to install with no in-app purchases. If that changes, we will update these Terms and present any applicable App Store terms before charging users.
Apple may control distribution, availability, device compatibility, review, and removal of the app under Apple's terms and policies.
5. Your Responsibilities
Do not misuse myLine, interfere with the service, attempt to access systems without permission, reverse engineer restricted parts of the app, or use myLine in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple ID, and any related accounts secure.
6. Not Medical Advice
myLine is a utility for surfacing preselected updates. It is not medical, mental health, counseling, emergency, or safety advice. We do not promise that myLine will diagnose, treat, cure, prevent any condition, or solve every phone-use problem.
7. Availability and Changes
myLine may change over time. We may add, remove, or modify features, including waitlist features, supported apps, automation setup, notification behavior, analytics, Lines, and creative delivery.
We may suspend, limit, or discontinue the service where needed for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, legal reasons, or product changes.
8. Intellectual Property
myLine, the website, app design, branding, text, software, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
You may send us comments, ideas, or feedback. We may use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
myLine is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
10. Termination
You may stop using myLine at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or used the service unlawfully.
